The mainstream media just plays you with propaganda over propaganda
about what they want You to believe!

OPEN OUR EYES

to the real truth.

Today…

marks the 60th year Israel has been recognized by the world as a country..

Why do we always talk about Israel?
Why is it always about Palestin and Al-Aqsa?

This were the questions that were always in my mind before..
At that time all I knew was that Al-Aqsa is a precious place..
and Israel is attacking our brothers and sisters in Palestin..
but that was it..

I never took the time to really find out what it all really means..
but today is a different day..

every muslim should really find out what this all really mean..
its our duty..
not only a duty to our brothers and sisters there.
but also a duty towards IsLaM..
a duty as a Muslim..

to find out what this all really mean!

At last I finished a video project that I started
from the past week..

I think up till now..this is the longest time I took
to a finish a video..

Usually it takes about one whole day..
and I mean the whole day without sleep..
but this time lots of problems came..
such as the video codec is different..
videos cannot be load and so on..

plus whats more..
usually I do the video editing with one of my friends
who does the soundtrack..
but this time as he is busy..
I had to do it alone..
so it took more time.

ha..anyway enough with that..
just glad that its over..
hehe
alhamdulillah.

Where is my revival??

Where is my drive to strive??

Where are my priorities??

I’m just words without action…. What happened to me…..

Furthermore, I received a chance to snowboard again. Although it was only a one day trip to Nagano, but it was great.
A friend of mine, who is currently working here, invited me to go along, actually I was replacing someone as that guy canceled, so again Alhamdulillah. We started the about 5 hour bus trip early in the morning , got there at around 1300 sumthing, snowboarded till1700 and went back, I got home at 2230. It was my first time experiencing snow so soft that it couldn’t be made into a snowball and because of that soft snow, we made our prayers in the snow. Ya Allah, how I wish I could describe how I felt, just being one with nature and praying to our One and Only.

It was snowing so hard that day, it was like in a blizzard. I didn’t buy a goggle so I had a hard time seeing anything at all, plus the snow that kept hitting&stinging my face added to the misery. Luckily it was only for the first 2 hours. After that it was a smooth ride going down. It was not only the thrill of snowboarding actually, as the group that I went along with were either American or American graduates that is working here. So it was a great experience mingling with the working and American society. One big difference that I felt was they were so friendly and cheerful that you could fit in with them right away. Plus they were very open-minded towards everything. They even know Islamic phrases such as Haram and InsyaAllah. It was like a group of brothers and sisters..but How I wished they had the hearts to accept Islam.. so it could become brothers and sisters of Islam…

Ya Allah may You give me and them hidayah..

‘Show us the straight way,’ [Al-Fatihah:6]

Here is my favourite pic of that day, the iceman..(watch the beard)

Favourite pic of the day

Looks like my fever is still here.. today again I missed class. Last night even though wearing 3 layers of shirts and sweaters, plus two layers of thick blanket, my whole body shivered as if I was standing outside on a snowing day not wearing anything..
Couldn’t sleep at all last night.. hmm..better rephrase that, could sleep.. but kept waking up each hour.. so I think its still the same as not sleeping at all.. but in the end it was a lesson for me, finding out to whom I really rely upon..

“And when I am ill, it is He Who cures me; (As-syu’

While all I could do was lay and rest all day, I managed to do some reading on Our history..
Today I read about the Ghazwah Uhud (Uhud War). One of the big wars that happened in history, which we faced defeat. Before this, when reading about this war, I usually was more interested into the event of the war as a whole, but this time I concentrated on what happened during the near ending of that war, when the Islamic defense was shattered and the Prophet’s sahabat surrounded him to protect him, one of them was a women who was actually doing the duty of giving water to the injured, but knowing that the prophet is in trouble she also came into the battlefield trying to protect him, her name was Nasibah Ummu ‘Umarah al-ansoriyyah. Her husband and two children were also in the battlefield protecting the prophet. But Nasibah while protecting the prophet was hit with an arrow to her throat and several other hits on her body. The prophet gave doa so that Nasibah’s family will join him in heaven..

Reading that, stirred my heart about how big the sacrifices that the sahabat made for the phrophet and Islam.. whats more, it was one whole family sacrificing and living for the sole purpose of Islam.. I hope one day, when my time has come to have my own family, I can take Nasibah’s family as an example.. insyaAllah..
